Friday !!

Today I said 'Bon Voyage' to my very good friend, Viv and her husband, George. The last time I will be seeing them for 12 weeks. They are heading up to Brisbane tomorrow, then on to London on Wednesday. It is the trip of a lifetime so I hope they have a FANTABULOUS time !!

Another 2 Months !!

This is becoming a habit !! 2 monthly postings to my blog.

Lets see if I can do any better THIS time around !!

I missed posting about my BIG son's 21st birthday.... Would you believe I haven't done any photos nor any LO's on it yet?? I haven't been doing a lot of scrapping lately.

I sort of went 'SPLAT' again but am now on the 'UP'.

Off to do a job for a friend.

14 today....

Tomorrow is a BIG DAY !!

My baby will be 14 years old.

I do not know how this has happened so quickly. I only had her on Sunday !! I promise....

HAPPY BELATED MOTHERS DAY !!

I had a lovely quiet day. Had brekkie in bed.....bacon and eggs, toast, fresh fruit and yoghurt and a cup of tea .... all done by my baby girl, Elizabeth !! had a bit extra snooze time and after I was up and about, D and the kids produced a BIG PINK box covered in hearts !! (with a little parcel covered in pink hearts as well.) I am now the very happy owner of a Breville Espresso maker http://www.breville.com.au/products_detail.asp?prod=230 It is the baby of the family but I am very happy. I love cappuccino and will soon be an eggspurt at it !!

I sat around for the day, watched a bit of telly and did some scrapping. I'll finish the layout (LO) this afternoon.

Oliver is still at home (Was pretty crook last week with high temps.....tonsilitis) but will be back to school tomorrow.

Time to jump into the shower and get ready for WW..... won't be thrilling but then, I was a norty girl last week and the choccies yesterday were YUMMY.....Lindt so how can a girl say NO??

I have just spent the best part of 1 1/2 hours fiddling with my blog. I have made some changes and if you have been to visit before, I hope you like them. I think I do. I want to add in some photos, too and will get to that over the weekend. One I will add now was taken in China of my Matthew and his Fiance, Xiaohan, when they were over there in January this year. I LOVE this photo.

It is late and I am going to bed.

It's My Birthday !!

21 again....

I have had a relaxing, sleepy day today. Think I am catching up on lots of lost sleep.

A Week Later.....

....and the patient is back to her normal self.

Nothing was discovered and she has made a full recovery !!

Second week of the school holidays....... DD2 has gone north to visit a friend until Friday.

I hope to this week to get a few things done around my house.....lets see if it all comes off .......

I managed to get some scrapbooking done on Thursday and Friday and I am quite happy. One page 'needs' something else but I am not sure quite what to do....maybe a little bit of patterned paper...... mmmmmmmmm We shall see !!

Emilys Ambulance Ride......

Emily collapsed in a heap this afternoon while talking to her friend, T. She was pretty flaccid for a while after it but we got her inside and onto the lounge and I rang the Ambo's. Her BP was up a bit (145/100) but not a lot else to report. In hospital she has had blood done and a chest X-ray and they are keeoing her overnight in High Dependancy with 2nd hourly obs. I think they are hoping they might notice something overnight.

This is only the second time she has fainted when not in pain (her usual reaction to pain is to faint). I don't think the hospital know what is going on, I definitely don't.

She hadn't long asked DH if she could borrow the car to drive to Yamba. Don't think she'll be driving anywhere until we get to the bottom of all this. We'll know more (I hope) once the Dr she has been admitted under, has seen her in the morning.....

Good Friday

Slept badly last night then properly awake from 5.15 to get organised so that I and a friend could up to Armidale and bring Emily and Bianca home. Arrived back home around 3pm. Had a pretty good day. I had to get R. to drive for a little while as I began to get TOO at the wheel. We stopped along the way at a fruit stall and bought the yummiest apples I have had in such a long, long time. Beats anything that a shop has to sell, believe me.....

We weren't long home and I had to take Emily up to Cas....conjunctivitis . We were there for nearly 2 hrs and was seen for no more than 60 seconds !! Came home with the drops to be taken for 24hrs after the infection has settled.....

Anyway, off to have tea and a good time with our friends.

I Have Wonderful Kids!!

Tuesday and Wednesday saw the Combined High Schools Rowing Regatta and my two youngest kids were right in there !!

The regatta was my daughters first major one and my son's third CHS.

Oliver was the medalist for the family, winning Silver in the U17 Mens Quad and Bronze in the U17 mens Double. The weather was really against him in the single and Elizabeth in her race (U15 Womens Quad). She rowed down to the start line in fine weather and rowed home after the wind, rain and chop had picked up. It was really tough going for all the kids who raced in that session of bad weather, especially as they were rowing INTO the wind. There were times when it looked as though the kids were paddling and getting no-where. Added to that, one of the girls began coughing not long into the race and was unable to breathe properly...... Tis the way it goes and they had a good time, anyway....which, to me, is still the main thing.

We arrived home around 4-4.30 and Oliver slept on the lounge from then until about 7 this morning. I think he was tired.....

I am SO PROUD of my kids and the whole High School team. They rowed well in every event, congratulated team members of other teams whether winners or not.

WELL DONE KIDS !!

March has all but gone already !! How did THAT happen??

Today was spent at a Girl Guide property making morning tea and lunch for some volunteers who mow the grounds for us....THANKS HEAPS !! Had such a hard day I needed a Nana Nap this afternoon !!

Now I am half watching RockWizz and half typing up my blog !!

Having Trouble with Links from My Blog

Hello if you have found your way here...

I have been having trouble with the links from my Blog to others on my list. When I click on a link, an ad for Mobile Phone Ringtones comes up and I cannot get rid of it.

If you have had a similar experience and have managed to get rid of it, please let me know how you did it.

I Have Scrapped....

Would you believe it??

I managed 5 pages on Wednesday night. If I can manage it today, I'll be scrapping again this afternoon !!

Wonders will never cease !!

If that isn't enough....I have done a ton of washing today !! Now is that a bit of trivia OR WHAT??

Another Day !!

I haven't been blogging as often as I originally wanted to.

I really need to get my act together and add bits and pieces every few days. Seems my life can be pretty boring at times...... Have done almost no scrapping and very little of anything else.

Oliver turned 16 on Monday......those years have gone Oh so fast but where they have gone to, I haf no idea !!

Out to a friends place today so I'll pop back in later.
