DH and I saw the Counsellor (C.) from the Youth and Family Unit yesterday. I have had Elizabeth to her twice, now. She is a really lovely lady. D felt comfortable with her and is confident she is someone who Elizabeth will open up to. As with anything, though, you only tell people what you want them to know.

Tomorrow we will see the visiting Paediatric/ Adolescent Psychiatrist with Elizabeth and C. C. will talk to the Psych about Elizabeth first to give him a background history.

We told C. about the egg throwing and she said it is a serious matter and we should notify the Police. I will do that today. She has been trying to contact the principal of the High School but he has been unavailable. She wants to know what will be done about the videoing of Elizabeth at Easter.........

I know Elizabeth will be OK once we get out the other side of all of this. It is just getting her through it. I am SO worried how all of this is going to effect any future relationships she will have and just how much damage has been done.

I have this feeling that she may have learnt from her Mum how to disassociate herself from the incident, be like an onlooker rather than a participant. Probably not a good thing to learn at such a young age.

The Little Monkey !!!

DH and I were out today until about 4.45pm.

When we arrived home we found that Elizabeth has pierced her ear a THIRD time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We could CHOKE this girl !!! BUT we won't.......

Not only did the mindless kids throw eggs, they left their Vodka Cruiser bottles behind. One had obscenities directed at Elizabeth written on it.

She had an idea who would have done it and told me. Now I am 99% sure it was these girls..... She doesn't know about the obscenities written on the bottles.

I hope that these girls grow a brain ....... one day.

I heard a noise out the front of my house a little while ago......

The garage doors now have egg splattered all over them.........

I've been feeling quite 'up in the air' lately. Have a few things going round my mind..........

Miss Emily came home from Uni today and is staying with some friends for the duration of her prac. The two girls do not want to be in the same house together. Not every mothers dream but it is how to keep the peace. Her prac is 3 weeks in Maclean, then she has two weeks holiday. I don't know what her plans are.

We see the counsellor (DH and I) on Tuesday about what the girls have been going through and then on Thursday, Elizabeth and us see the visiting doctor at the Hospital. Her self harming has settled a bit but her apparent need to have a boyfriend has not. This is a concern because there are two many friends who happen to be boys. A problem with having a girl who is beautiful for a daughter...

I have been thinking about a return to work but will badly need to do a refresher course of some sort. This will upset the financial applecart as things are worked closely so that the kids receive the full benefits of us having a low income. Doesn't do me much good, though. I have considered going to Sydney to do this................. now is not a good time, though because of the woes on the home front.

Sometimes I just want to leave all this (it's just too hard) and start a new life.....

Another Day Almost Gone

Not quite Wednesday.

DS2 is STILL watching telly. Wish he would go to bed so he will get up at a reasonable hour in the morning.... Both kids have been late every day for school so far this term.......... We went to see DS2's Year Adviser yesterday and it seems that the only ones who have a problem with him (regarding his schoolwork) is US !! ALL teachers are quite happy with hime even though they say he could do more. Little bugger is coasting along.

DD2 is off to see the Family Health team on Thursday to try and see about her self harming and anything else that may crop up......

I had a FANTASTIC weekend.

Went to a Scrapping Retreat at the Plantation Motel in sunny Tyndale not far from home. Managed a few LO's and got the challenges done. SO much laughing happened, food was wonderful and there was probably too much of it but who cares?? We were there for a good time. My friend Robyn came down from Maryborough in Qld for it and had a great time, too. Hoping there will be another one soon....... They manager of the place is making plans for us to come back. He has worked out where he will put us to scrap, where Ke-Ane and Ericia from www.directscrapbookingwarehouse.com.au can set up and then lock their shop up....... I think he enjoyed having us all there :) :)

I am having a Stampin' Up Party tomorrow night....cannot wait. I am beginning to love their stuff. Ink pads are a great price at $10.00 each for a really good sized ink pad. My demo lady, Dianne, has only been with SU for a relatively short time but already has some great ideas.

I'll see how I go uploading some of my scrapping LO's tomorrow.........
